Felix Y. Chen
Interim CEO, Chairman of the Board

Felix Y. Chen serves as the Chairman of the Syndiant board of directors as well as holding the position of interim CEO for Syndiant. He also currently serves as a director on the executive board of the Cox School of Business and as a member of the board of John Goodwin Tower Center at Southern Methodist University. Chen is a member of the Dallas Citizen Council and Texas Governor’s Business Council. He is the past president of the National Chinese American Jewelry Association.

Chen was born in Shanghai and moved to Taiwan. He came to the U.S. in 1970 to complete his Masters Degree in pure mathematics at the University of Miami in Florida. A man of many interests, he started a jewelry business in 1978. Chen currently serves as chairman and CEO of PAJ, Inc., the leading jewelry manufacturer and wholesaler servicing major department stores and mass merchants in the United States and Canada.


MARK G. HARWARD
Co-Founder, Chief Strategy Officer

Mark Harward brings more than 20 years of technology management experience to Syndiant. As Chief Strategy Officer, he is responsible for leading strategy and development for all Syndiant products. Before co-founding Syndiant in 2004, Harward, in 1999, helped found and currently serves as an outside director for KarMic Design Centre, an integrated circuit design services company. He also founded TestChip Technologies in 1994, where he served as CEO before selling the company in 2002. With both ventures, Harward built strong sales and customer relationships, and executed development projects with lean budgets.

Previously, Harward spent nine years at UTC-MOSTEK and Texas Instruments, and is a named inventor on 14 issued U.S. patents. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering at the University of Missouri-Rolla, and his Master of Science degree in electrical engineering from Southern Methodist University, with a minor in operations research and engineering management.


Keith A. Lewis
Syndiant President and

Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Keith Lewis brings over 25 years of experience building and leading sales teams in various high-technology industries including multimedia, entertainment, and broadcast. In addition, to his experience in various industries he has also been involved in companies throughout the corporate life cycle from startups to turnarounds. Lewis spent 15 years with Texas Instruments where he held sales leadership positions covering North America, Europe, and Asia. Prior to joining Syndiant, Lewis was responsible for worldwide sales at Ambrado, where he built a strong global sales organization including direct sales, distribution, and re-seller channels. Lewis earned his Bachelor of Science in business administration, majoring in marketing from Colorado State University.


R. TUPPER PATNODE
Co-Founder and General Manager

As general manager and co-founder of Syndiant, Tupper Patnode brings more than 20 years of experience in business and technical management to the company. Formerly a general manager at Covalar Design, he had complete responsibility for technical and business operations. At TestChip Technologies, Patnode served for seven years as the director of operations.

Patnode earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Oklahoma City University and his Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering at the University of Oklahoma.


GREG C. CHEN
VP Investor Relations

With more than 10 years of sales experience in electronic components, Greg Chen is liaison to shareholders and investors worldwide. Chen earned his Bachelor of Science degree in hydraulic engineering at Cheng-Kung University and his Master of Science degree in civil engineering at the University of Texas-Arlington.


Dennis Cheng, Ph. D.
Senior Manager, Syndiant HK Ltd.

With more than 10 years of technology development experience in LCOS micro-display, Dr. Cheng is responsible for managing Syndiant HK Ltd., which functions include LCOS electronics solutions development, customer technical support and new projects development with the local R&D organizations in Hong Kong. Cheng earned his BEng, MPhil and PhD degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and MBA degree at the University of Bradford, UK. He is an expert in the field of LCOS micro-display and its related technology such as LCD, projection optics and LCOS electronics for multi-media application. He also has solid business development experience in the LCOS micro-display industry.
